File this under LOVE. I visited Roost recently and am overjoyed to recommend their restaurant! My friend Shannon and I chose goat cheese-cake with tomato jam, roasted cauliflower, tofu over wild rice with wasabi peas and coffee ice cream with donut holes off of their typewriter written menu. And oh, yes. It was delicious. Only open 4 weeks and they have everything right. The cozy space gives it a great Montrose feel and the waitstaff and owner, Kevin Naderi are incredibly welcoming and attentive. Dine at Roost any day of the week and for a little while longer, you can bring your own bottle of wine on Monday or Tuesday. Get there early cause this charming little place fills up fast!
